Nowadays millet is considered the sixth most important grain in the world! Millet is a versatile grain that can be prepared like hot cereal, mashed like potato, or fluffed like rice. Ground into flour, millet can be used to make dough, pancakes, muffins or bread. Experts consider that in recent times one of the major problems of millet market is quality of grain products.
In cooperation with agrarians and Sigur research laboratory run millet calibration test at pre-cleaning, post cleaning and sorting/calibration applications. Samples of the initial material were substandard and had different levels of grain quality and its degree of contamination.
Pre cleaning of millet grain using ADS separator allowed us to upgrade the quality of the raw material from non-class to II class of seeds.
